Discover the wonder at the Maryland Science Center. Maryland's oldest science institution, the Maryland Science Center has been educating and entertaining children of all ages at its current location since June, 1976.

Would you like to speak to the cold virus? How about dig for dinosaur fossils? Maybe drive a Mars Rover? Or journey to the world of whales? At the Maryland Science Center you can do all of that and MORE!

Hunger pangs? Beakers Cafe will help! Located on Level One, Beakers Cafe is a full service cafe with everything from made to order sandwiches to daily specials. With a family friendly menu, you do not have to cut your visit short to grab a bite to eat.

Want to take home a bit of your visit? Stop by the Science Shop, located on Level One. The Science Shop has everything from books, DVD's, CD's, science kits and more! The Science Shop is an Amazon.com Associate.

The Maryland Science Center is open Tuesday through Thursday from 10am - 5pm, Friday 10am - 8pm, Saturday 10am - 6pm and Sunday 11am - 5pm. The Maryland Science Center is closed to the public on Monday.
